- Think about your sales channel

- Choose the packaging
Aerosols are usually made in 200 and 400 ml, and fuel and oil additives usually in 250-300 ml bottles. Retail care bottles run from 250 ml to 1 L; 500 ml and other sizes are considered on request.
- Settle formula, scent and label
Using one of the ready formulas speeds things up. Scent, colour or concentration customisation, or feasibility of your own formula, is assessed separately. The label design is usually prepared by the brand.
- Move ahead with a brief and samples
Send a brief with the product group, packaging, target market and approximate quantity; the sample plan is agreed together after the brief.

- Niche products such as helmet and air filter care can help a small brand stand out, but test demand with a small quantity first.
